Who we are
A young, ambitious club from a UNESCO World Heritage city.
CD Composala was founded in 2023 in Santiago de Compostela by a group of former players, and crowdfunded from day one by 100+ people and 10+ local businesses. Today we field senior men’s, women’s and youth teams — more than 100 players competing in the official Galician leagues. Our mission: futsal without barriers, built on inclusion, equality and respect.
- 2023
Founded
CD Composala is founded thanks to the crowdfunding of 100+ people and 10+ local businesses. The senior men’s, women’s and youth sides are born.
- 2024
First promotion
The men’s team earns a historic promotion in its very first season. The academy passes 100 players.
- 2025
Double promotion
A second consecutive promotion for the men’s side; the women’s team becomes a pillar of the club.
- 2026
Third promotion — into Segunda División B
A third consecutive promotion takes the men’s team into Segunda División B (2ª B) for next season. The women’s team consolidates with strong results in its category.

Qualified level-2 coach in charge of the senior teams, with 13 years across youth and senior football.

Youth coordinator and professional player, a UEFA PRO coach with a PhD in Sport Science.

Professional futsal player, senior sports technician and qualified level-1 coach, with 3 years in youth football.

Early Childhood Education graduate, level-1 coach and winner of the Galicia Volunteering Award, with 8 years in youth football.
